Is that regular? Well its been a wonderfull day here at the Rose covered cottage, I have been on the roof all day till 1523 hrs then we had a tiny shower about 30 raindrops , I began to curse and it stopped so i continued on the roof till i finished the job in hand at 1700 hrs, so all in all , its been a good day:flatcap:

Now i have to pray it doesnt rain between now and Twelth night as otherwise the bulbs will be popping,
and on topic it looks ok over here at The light covered cottage in the tiny hamlet for the next few hours at least no rain is forecast:flatcap::pray::pray::pray::pray:

We have not had heavy rain or thunder at The Light Covered Cottage , we have had a little rain , I have worked out how to avoid the bulbs popping in the event of rain or snow we make sure they are turned off .So it goes without saying , I am not Dreaming of a White Christmas,:flatcap:

Back on topic to avoid ending up in Janet Corner.........It's too dark to see the weather. It looks dry and I'm guessing it's cold. I'm using specialist weather equipment to reach that conclusion...my central heating keeps kicking in..lol

We started by attending at Hospital yesterday.
The Receptionist was Lovely, then a Short wait until We were called. (O.H.'s Appointment)
Occasionally You meet Someone who cares, and this happened here, start to finish.
We went to do a bit of Shopping. It was a "Be nice to Warbey Day" Most were.
Perhaps, for Me, it helped to balance the negativity of Happenings Here the Other Day.
Weatherwise, Today was similar to Yesterday. Nice but getting chilly, not too bothered
as I bought a new Coat Yesterday to keep Me warm.
Happy new coat warbey. hope you bought the ultra thick one, ( see i can get back on topic) its forecast to be a cold one this winter.:flatcap: its been warm and sunny here today, i expect the weather to be warmer soon for us Yorkshire folk:flatcap:

No need for you to feel guilty TOTO 99, You going on holiday or not would not have changed events in the Phillipines, Some years ago we arrived in Tenerife on the day of Princess Di's funeral and felt that we hadn't given enough respect, but it didn't change anything. As long as these unfortunate people are in your thoughts.

Hot Toddies are the way to go, any spirit you like, honey, lemon, sugar and hot water. It might not do your cold any good but after a few you won't care anyway. :heyhey:

Ohh I know - I do have them and always recommend them.
Once fell off a bar stool in Tenerife due to the strength the bar owner had made it for me ! I think there was a dash of every brandy on the top shelf !

I am feeling a bit better today although we woke up to snow ! then hailstones !so nice and white outside tho' it's started to melt
looks chilly out there !
heating on full belt and gas fire and its still cold. Ventured out and car temp was -1.5C. Ok the sky is blue and the sun is shining but not fooling anyone. Just had email from airline reminding me of my pending flight to Tenerife - which cheered me up no end.
Ventured out after Lunch. Temp varied between 4 and 5..
Sun shing and the Ground drier after the Downpour/s of Yesterday

If its flu the only thing that will cure it is time. Think it takes its own time in leaving your system. You'll be fine in a week or two:cheeky:

Well I have a had a cold since middle of October but I could live with it - it was milder than my sinus problems but then last Thursday it just took the wind out of my sails and I just felt awful. I could have slept standing up.
When I'm quiet and not giving grief in work they know I'm ill.
Was hoping to be back tomorrow am getting fed up now !

Monkey, there are too many remedies which don't work that well, but I'm sure You
know You need to drink plenty of "Fluids" to recover quicker...............

Now to get back on track! Another lovely sunny day down here in the centre of the universe. Tracked some planes this morning as the sky was so clear I could practically see what they were having for breakfast on the flight deck. Flights going to Miami, Tampa , Orlando, Jamaica, etc., makes me mad that I am still here. However our top temp today was 9.0C (48.2F) and overnight the coldest was -0.7C (30.7F), so not as bad as some of you. Keep warm everyone and remember one of my mother's favourite sayings "one below is worth two on top" - duvets, that is!!

According to the BBC we are due to get 4, 5 6 then 7 across the day and 8 degrees by midnight..???
Less than 4 weeks till the shortest day. Of course, despite the speed it came in at, it still seems to take months to get lighter....lol

A bright, dry and breezy day with lots of sun. No sign of any frost and the temp dropped down to 6.1C (43.0F)overnight and rose to 10.6C (51.1F) today.

I am doing my best, But the rain is a month late this year last year it rained late October and i remember the the first week in November.It rained and rained, causing an epedemic of flies. If it rains on your arrival at the Airport let me know i will then refer you to the brolly shop, if its real heavy rain. I will negoiate a discount at the Tenerife Dive shop for you :flatcap:
