Bright and breezy here too, all the washing blown nice and dry!! Top temp today 11.2C (52.2F) At least the breeze is drying up the garden, but I expect it will rain again tomorrow and turn it back into a bog. We may have to stop growing barley and start making rice paddy fields instead - but a bit back breaking when you are planting the rice plants!!!

A nice sunny day here again with only one shower at home. I was in Truro in the afternoon taking the OH to have his eyes tested (he's still not able to drive yet!) and it rained there on and off most of the afternoon. Top temp today was 10.8C (51.4F) and there was a nice Force 7 breeze blowing as well. Sorry if it's much colder than this in the northern reaches of the Empire - keep warm folks!!!!!

Definitely colder here, but sunny with fairly hefty showers of rain and hail. My hot water tank had developed a leak and the nice man came and fitted a new one today so have had all the windows and doors open to dry out the airing cupboard - that's when I noticed how cold it was! Also there was quite a strong breeze blowing from the north west - 44mph Force 8! Top temp today was 10.5C (50.9F) Hope everyone is keeping warm and dry!

Loch Lomond has improved a lot with a speed restriction put on the boats, but for the motorist it's been ruined with the new road....no Loch view in many places......but again that's meant to be progress???

Supposed to warm up at the weekend and be nice. The Met Office is predicting 18C on Saturday, so get out your fur coats and thermal drawers as they are so often wrong that it is bound to be the opposite!

went to Grandchilds' Birthday this Afternoon in a short sleeved Shirt...Soon got to the Car and put My Coat back on.

There's a layer of fog over the Clyde that's like a "Pea Soup" and the ferries to the Isle of Cumbrae are off.

Well, I don't know about that, warbs, as we have had a very strange day here today. Thick mist/fog at home all morning but had to go to Bodmin after lunch and then down to Perranporth and on to Truro and the A30 was in bright sunshine pretty well all the way and so was Perranporth and Truro. However, coming back up the A30 and A39 it was thick fog again all the way home. However, all my washing was dry which was very odd especially as I understand there wasn't a breath of wind! (It was caravan curtains so they aren't very heavy, but even so!!!) We have been promised more fog tomorrow but nice on Saturday - that is if you believe the weathermen!!

By the way, my sister, who lives on the edge of Dartmoor, told me they had a superb sunny day over here, which is strange because it is usually the other way round!

It wasn't the undies which were on the line, Ts, it was caravan curtains which just didn't want to dry. However, we had virtually unbroken sunshine all day today with a nice (but v. cold) breeze, so everything is dry now! Top temp was 13.7C (56.7F) and we had 11 hours of sunshine.
