A wet and cool start to the day here and the outlook doesn't look that good.

I think my wife has picked the wrong day to go to Glasgow to absorb the atmosphere of the Commonwealth Games, but the way the conversation with my daughter in Law was going last night, I think it's the absorbing of Champagne at lunchtime that they have planned at the Grand Central Hotel.....re-mortgage of our home might be needed!:D

As opposed to just sitting in a helpless state?
Torrential rain here in Ayrshire , slowly moving up to final Games Day in Glasgow - not likely to finish the men's road race in cycles , more like canoes !
Hats off to the thousands of spectators who have come out to support the racers , as they say :-

"Glasgow's Miles Wetter!! "
