Can't complain too much though because I think we had a better than average summer overall. :c2:

I think it was before last Christmas when I last posted properly.
I wont go into too much detail but here goes:-

We finished the kitchen/dining extension and during the build I had a bad case of pneumonia.
Luckily I avoided being admitted but still had a few hospital appointments, which you'll all know can be as bad as being ill.
Anyway, I have other health issues that are not too serious and I hope will be sorted before the end of this year but once the docs get you they don't seem to let go.

Everyone goes through trying times so my situation is no worse than many other peoples and I know compared to some, I am blessed.

My wife's father passed away in June after an illness first diagnosed 6 years ago, he was a good man.
He was a good age (85) and they told him last summer that they could do no more and his illness was now terminal.

Then a 2nd granddaughter arrived in July, so I have been busy to some degree.

However, I have no real excuse for not visiting and posting on the forum occasionally, I just never seemed to get round to doing it. :sorry:

I was very sorry to hear about Colin's dad Alan, he will be missed.
I believe his funeral is tomorrow and I will say a pray for him tomorrow night.


I hope everyone else is well.

I've got an old Flymo one but find it heavy and the leaves have to be dry before it'll pick them up, so I normally just use a brush where I can.

Stockport is a place i would like to spend time in, Ive met a few People from there.

Nope.....just been spending some euros in case the "Yes" vote wins, then the value will plummet....it's started now and that's even before the vote, apart from that and to remain on topic......

Btw the Ecb reduced interest rates so as the Euro would fall. This will give a better price for exporters and hopefully increase production and therefore jobs in the Eurozone.
Btw 2 Meyrill Lynch and other finanancial institutions have been in Dublin negotiating for weeks, as they are preparing for a Tory withdrawal from the EU in the next parliament if Camerons euro sceptics get their way, or this Parliament if Boris gets his way.
Either way they'll be looking for a base location that is IN the EU and prefarably IN the Eurozone.
