I just looked at the size of the Walsgrave Hospital- 1250 beds plus 27 operating theatres!!, I thought that Inverclyde Hospital in Greenock was large with 335 beds.

Ok Aniyah April born 070215 at 29 weeks weighing 3lb 3oz by Caesarean section following a ruptured placenta. Born at Warwick Hospital but transferred to Walsgrave Coventry for specialist care. Following the Birth my Daughter had three packs of blood transfused and has recovered well and will be discharged today. Aniyah is also doing well and is breathing with the aid of ventilation alternated with CPAP and when she gets tired back onto ventilation. Well I contacted the Environment agency and they logged my report and asked me to monitor the river for 24 hours. They only come out for major pollution incidents now. I'm going down to check on any fish fatalities.

If the levels in my blood are confirmed by a second test they'll carry out revision surgery as they call it, in other words remove the dodgy implant and replace it with a non dodgy one. I'm worried that it will upset my Tenerife holiday schedule.

Baby Aniyah is now off the ventilator and CPAP and now on airflow she may be being transferred from critical care to high dependency....but doing extremely well. My Daughter is out of hospital tired, emotional and in a bit of pain... But progressing well.
