As it's a pleasant day I am walking to the pub today in an attempt to lower my blood pressure. :doctor:..Can't say I'm looking forward to it to be honest. It's 2 miles away and I haven't walked anwhere for ages....But needs must...

And, seeing as you asked.....is it any wonder my BP is high when all of a sudden the docs have reduced the amount of tablets I get in my repeat prescription from 12 weeks to 4 weeks...:redcard:...So now I have to pay 3 times what I used to pay...:twak:....I'm trying to push them up to 8 weeks but it looks like I'll have to make a fuss to get it....New policy they say. Government's doing so they say....what a swizz just to get more money out of me....Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............. Thank you for your time...:lol:

The Weatherman.

Once upon a time there was a king who wanted to go fishing.

He called the royal weather forecaster and inquired as to the weather forecast for the next few hours. The weatherman assured him that there was no chance of rain in the coming days.
So the king went fishing with his wife, the queen.

Furious, the king returned to the palace and gave the order to fire the professional. Then he summoned the farmer and offered him the prestigious and high paying role of royal forecaster.

The farmer said, "Your Majesty, I do not know anything about forecasting. I obtain my information from my donkey. If I see my donkey's ears drooping, it means with certainty that itwill rain." ...So the king hired the donkey.

And thus began the practice of hiring dumb asses to work in the
government and occupy its highest and most influential positions.
