It was bitterly cold in Market Harborough last week - with piercing strong winds from the North. Were in Cambridge on Wednesday, and again the wind was really freezing. Back in Eastern France now. -7C but sunny, no wind and very dry - so a doddle. I was awake as stated but didn't want to wake anyone up so kept nice and quiet! Hope that was appreciated.

Horrible wet day until about an hour ago when sun came out but not for long. Everywhere soggy and mucky and hateful - it can't go on forever, can it? Max temp 8.5C

Yellow square things are definitely dusters - although I use the white Tesco cleaning cloths 'cos you can boil them and bleach them. The noisy thingy is probably a Dyson but I wouldn't use it if I were you, mac, 'cos you won't want to walk on the floors in case you get them dirty!
