if you don't mind me asking, which software do you use for your photos, the effects are amazing, a serious talent ;)

nice photos.... your name is a blast from the past :) your little thumbnail of your face on the photo links confirmed that I know you hehehe :spin::wave: nice to see someone else that is still hopefully happily living over here ...
Software?
Mainly i use software to copyright the images, sharpening, saturation and correcting white balance but i guess what you are referring to by the "amazing effect" are the light leaks, which are photographic tecniques with film.
Look up Lomography and study it
Some of my favorite and most used techniques are shooting film on the other side, Chemical bleaching, using old film lenses on Digital cameras, film cross processing, Daylight film with Flo lighting, Indoor film - outside, Using manual white balance, & WB Shift. Dragging the shutter, using the available light to my advantage and never using the camera in automatic.
Adobe have some great software but theres hardly any push button modifications in most of my images. So much is available in camera (SLR/DSLR) and filters
And so much feel to an image by changing the Kelvin settings

Not as good as those by 9Plus, but I think a stunning view.
The picture was taken from the CalMac ferry as it was leaving Largs on its way to the Isle of Cumbrae.
