That's me! It is also because I had a HUGE crash a couple of years ago and lost a lot of information. Now I have it on different computers and a desktop hard disk so I (hopefully) will never lose so much again!

Sounds familiar. My daughter and her boyfriend joined as in September. They paid the apartment and flights (eventually) but we seemed to pay for everything else. Ah that's kids for you. Did enjoy their company though and they even enjoyed ours !

Yes, you're right it is a good feeling that you're not too much of an embarassment to them! Both my daughters and partners regularly drop in at home. Even the neighbours have commented how nice that is. I live in Kilmarnock but my heart's in Tenerife !

I believe that you all had it pretty rough up there. Glad there were no desperate problems. We just had a bit of wind down here, so took a couple of Rennies and solved the problem!! :crylaughing:

Most importantly is the subtle flavours that it has, this is achieved by the spices and herbs that are used which unfortunately Macleod's Of Stornaway refuse to tell us what they are. The pudding when cooked remains moist, so there is no bitterness that is found in other Black Puddings.:hungry:
I suspect as most Scotts do that there is another hidden ingredient which is believed to be..... that the blood that is used in the Pudding is from Sassenachs!:scotland:
Although very interesting, what about the white puddings, why are you leaving them out, is this another case of racial discrimination, should I contact Brussels?
