This statement has been made in the Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/internet/8674678/Internet-Explorer-users-have-below-average-IQ.html), after it was revealed a survey was made and the answers plotted against the browser being used. So 'fess up! Who's still using IE?:D

I'm really surprised at that, I would have thought it took a high IQ to use IE

I've tried for years and it's always baffled me as it does nothing obvious...eek2:eek2:

I don't like those Beta versions, they use them to find all the kinks and hitches...

Okay, I will "fess up", I am using IE on Windows XP - well, at least on this computer! Sorry, but I like both of them and I'm not afraid to say so. :typing:

That's exactly the excuse I used for not switching from IE. ( I know, what a sad pathetic man I am!:crying2:)

Anything is better than IE.

When I click on a site that says IE needed, I'd rather not log in.

Enjoyable 5 minutes maybe, but crap follows

I want a browser purely for speed, not its clever add-ons, and when I tested a few CHROME always came out on top. However, when i do certain things, I need FF . . . . . and some programs insist and will ONLY work on IE !! Whats that about ? Each time I come across things that chrome can't handle, i email them about it, and sooner or later its sorted.

FF 5 seems to be the best version yet, the bugs on FF4 have all been fixed and it's very rapid. I tried and like Chrome but for me FF has the edge.

I,m running the latest FF (in Beta) and Chrome for the majority of the time I,m on the computer. The one and only time I use IE is if I,m trying to find the fitba' and the site only plays IE.

I agree, Chrome is great for speed. I use it on our netbook that I get in the states for when I travel. The netbook is surfing specs, so I need a lightweight browser. Chrome is perfect.

For web development I use Firefox, as the developer addons are unbelievably time-saving. They use more ram, and there is an issue with flash that makes it use more ram over time meaning you have to reboot it, but I switch off flash on it and it's fine.

I have IE 5.5 thru 8, FF 3 thru 5, opera, safari and chrome installed on my main machine in order to test websites for compatibility.

Safari is a strange one, I think it filters out alot of Microsoft content when using Google. I can't get on with it at all although it's been a few years since I last used it.

I use Safari for general web use and Firefox 5 for watching tv streams and any other site where Safari doesn't seem to cut the mustard...

I tried Safari for a week and hated it, Chrome the same (although not for mobile use)and keep going back to FF3.

When I did use IE I always seemed to have problems with my comp. Have used FF for as long as I can remember now and never had these problems.
