This will only appeal to a small minority of the forum as we have heard many say they do not watch these types of shows

I thoroughly enjoyed last years, and for anyone who may be put of by the word Opera, the music is tunes everyone has heard so I am looking forward to seeing if the following can sing.

Andy Bell - think he will be a pain in the butt (sorry cant think of another way of saying it)
Joe McElderry - has he done anything since X Factor?
Joe Washbourn - who? Only kidding:eyebrows:
Midge Ure - Think he is doing it for the challenge unlike some of them.
Cheryl Baker - well she has done everything else but I like her
Claire Richards - missing the limelight
Jocelyn Brown - I havenīt a clue who this is
Melody Thornton - think she could be good but why do we have to have Americans surely we have enough singers who are British?

I like that as well - see I'll watch any old rubbish I'm not proud.

Have you noticed that when they value items on ARS they are always worth loadsamoney but when it's Cash in the Attic where it goes to auction the values are peanuts.

Did any of you watch Joe McElderry win Popstar to Opera Star? I thought he was very good and it's a shame that Simon Cowell has dropped him, like he does with a lot of the winners of X-Factor. I think he has a bright future ahead of him.
Cheryl Baker and Claire Richards were also great singers too! Couldn't believe how good they were! :cheer::cheer:

Yes, I watched it last night, haven't seen it for quite a while and thought it was brilliant! Have to say, I did think Cheryl was the better singer of the two though.
