I was wondering if there is a market on Tenerife for selling an almost new Jaguar XKC Dressage saddle? Anyone a suggestion if I could take it to a store or post an add somewhere? Not sure if there are people even on the forum who are interested in a saddle. There must be some horse-people on here I assume?

A good place to try i would suggest is the Centro Hipico del Sur in Buzanada. They have quite a high dressage fraternity there.

Thanks, Is that on the way to Guargacho (coming from Chafiras)? I remember seeing a sign with a name something like Centro Hipico if I'm not mistaken.

OOh, not very good at directions but as you are travelling from the parque de la reina towards the GUAZA turn off, you will see it on your right hand side. Basically come off at GUAZA, Go up into BUZANADA, go Right at the roundabout, then I think it is the first right................... bit of a back lane, and its at the end of there.

Xanadu is the Centro Hipico at Orotianda Baja, the one just past Las Chafiras that you are thinking of. An easy way to get to Centro Hipico del Sur in Buzanada is to take the Parque de la Reina turnoff, if you come from Las Chafiras direction, come off the motorway and head down the slip road, just before you go under the bridge there is a road turns up to the left, go up there and take the first road on the left, the stables are about 1km along the road on the right hand side or if you come from Los Cristianos, when you come off the motorway turn left and once under the bridge turn right and follow signals as before! There are also stables in Faņabe, close to the Hiper Dino that do dressage shows and show jumping so you may have some luck there. There are other stables but not that specialise in dressage! Hope that helps!

Hahaha that sounds about right, that must be the one I was thinking of... I will get in my car when I am back and visit a few places. Have not seen any barns at Tenerife, pretty sad for someone who spend as many hours working with horses in the past as I did... Probably b/c once I offered someone my time for free to help with the horses she never even bother to respond to it (this was after I asked to bring my dog to introduce him to horses which first it was okay and then it was too much of a hassle. It sort of put me off horsey people on the island. But it is not right of course not all people are like that and if I can help a horse with something I should....
