View Full Version : Why do Iceland pizzas always stick to the pan?

just like to know how come i buy any iceland brand pizza it ALLWAYS stick to my pizza pan. and when i get it unstuck some of the bottom crust is kinda glue to the pan. this ruined the pizza. but.... any kind of pizza i but lidi,marcedonna, carrefour brand fresh or frozen it never stick to the pan. how come iceland pizzas allways stick to my pan? even i put a little butter on the pan and same thing. iceland pizza stick others donīt. has anyone noticed this as well?

I never put 'em in a pan just straight onto the shelf and they're always perfect.

Make sure the oven is up to temperature before you put it in so the pizza, or whatever, seals itself before the inside cooks.

Just like Chinese cooking, always make sure the heat is there before starting.

Same principal as bacon. Some boil it in the frying pan and some fry it.

Forget the pan or dish.

Place the pizza on the oven shelf to allow the heat to get round it instantly.

BTW. 5 minutes pre heating may not be enough. Make sure it is at the recommended temperature. (Electric, the light goes off)

As Slodge say make sure oven is the correct tempurature first and always put it straight on the rack (shelf) to let the heat get all round it.

I always do 'em too hot for 2/3rds of the time recommended and then switch off the oven...DO NOT OPEN!

Wait 5 minutes and they're perfick......

.... but don't forget to take the clingfilm off before putting it in the oven! ;)

i preheat the oven, put the pizza on tinfoil and rub some olive oil on it to stop it sticking and it usually works, the first time i cooked one of these pizzas it was like you say just completely stuck to the pan. mind you thats iceland for you!
