Presumably just after the state of the art pop up sprinklers used at half time had been switched off!

Sporting have changed kick off time to 4pm Canarian time. The game will now be played at the Molinon Stadium so that more fans can go.
Good job a group of us did not go and flights back at 7pm or so eh???

The Spanish football federation pay for all flights and that includes Canarian teams travelling to the mainland I am 99% sure. You have to take what they give you though.

Two reasons for change of venue. One is the state of the Sporting B pitch and they probably thought that as it is Tenerife they can get a few more people through the turnstiles at the big stadium. As CD Tenerife are staying in Northern Spain until Wednesday anyway (for Cup game) I do not suppose they minded.

Yeah, good comfortable win by all accounts. Pleased with that as I thought the only thing that can stop us this season is the players attitude playing at some of these lower teams and they come up trumps.

Not being top for now does not bother me in the slightest. I think we are going to enjoy this season. what this latest victory(and great start) will do is boost season ticket sales next week. We could reach 8-9,000 with a bit of luck, an amazing total for 2nd B.

Hopefully we can maintain this momentum, but the first real test will be Albacete away on the 10th.

Kiko missed what looked like an easy chance, but then provided a great assist for Perona. But the two players that are really impressing, are Marcos and Tacon, what a lovely lob!
