A 23 years old foreign woman, has been rescued by helicopter from the Emergency and Security Group (GES) after suffering a fainting spell in Tenerife, was reported by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security (CECOES 1-1-2).

The incident occurred in the footpath of Teide National Park, in the municipality of La Orotava, about 4pm, at which time the 112 recorded an alert informing them that a woman had fainted on a path with difficult access in the Teide park, so that triggered the "immediate" reaction from the security services to intervene in the area.

An abbulance was moved to nearby and a rescue helicopter landed in a place that was close to the affected woman and she was moved to the aircraft. From there, the helicopter evacuated to Los Rodeos Airport where we waited for the medical staff of the SUC is responsible for assisting and later transferred to hospital.
