I get 2-3 calls every day from 912053400, and this seem to be some kind of telephone sales. I usually just hang up, but the calls continues.

Are there any possibility to get rid of these calls? Would it help to call Orange or are there some kind of spam service where I could report this. As far as I can see I cannot block the calls via Oranges control panel.

Thanks.

Quite amazing that someone does not stop this crap. After all you run to the phone several times per day, and it is just nonsens. Wish it was possible to have a junk folder for junk calls

haha, used to do that in uk, say i will just go get my mum and leave the phone, it gives you a sense of getting your own back, its their time and their money they are wasting. love the Spanish ones, i say i do not speak spanish, there is a pause...then they just continue talking x

There is a problem doing this on a mobile. Unless your setting are right you can end up paying to receive the call.

I can't remember the details, but it was from a posting by SuzyQ on the old Forum.

Once I'd followed her advice I stopped receiving crap calls.

I hope she reads this and comes back to explain it.

Got a call from them at 6 in the morning. I thought somebody died in my family. Who would be ringing at that hour.

On my mobile it's a problem, don't know what to do about it, but my fixed line... I never use it, haven't given anyone my fixed line number, so I just disconnect it. :D
Problem is, i keep getting such calls via Skype too! (I have SkypeIn numbers in 3 countries...) (Not spain)

I've had a look and can't find it, it's just stuck in my head because I acted upon it, which is why I wrote I hope Suzy reads this.

I'll have another look....

Try looking them up on http://whocallsme.com/ - it will often give info on the company behind the number

You can also register mobile phones with the Telephone Preference Service now - http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/

There is also this - http://www.safe-number.co.uk/instructions.htm

If you have a Smartphone there is an app to block unwanted numbers - http://www.mobilechoices.co.uk/ask-our-expert/truecaller-blocking-nuisance-calls-app.html

I'll have another look....Just spent 40 minutes reading every post SQ posted in the last year and can't find, which is why I hope she comes on and reminds us.

Slightly off topic, but this goes to prove my point that moving threads and editing, which a lot of members moan about, is paramount to the running of the Forum.

If a post, I'm not saying this one, is in the wrong place, spelled incorrectly or hidden in somewhere then a search is useless if the keywords are not included.

FOR EXAMMPLE. 'apt los chris in may' will not show anything in a search, whereas 'apartment wanted los cristianos in may' has the necessary key words, not only for the Forum but Google.

Always remember that you are linked to the world and not just our Forum if your thread title is right.

I think half the forum might have just downloaded it, and that's why you're getting a 404 error :D

I downloaded TrueCaller for my iphone and sadly it didnt work. I tested it on my house phone and it still rang on my phone and gave me the option to answer it if I wanted to, it just said that it was blocked by Truecaller, but clearly wasnt :crying2:
