Rescue crews out at Amarilla Golf

The rescue helicopter and boat crews are out in force in the bay in Amarilla.

Apparently a yacht capsized earlier, and I'm sorry to say they look like they're looking for someone in the water. They don't seem to be having much success.

That's all I know at the moment.

I was in Los Abrigos this afternoon and there seemed to be a lot of yacht out around the Golf.

Has there been a yachting event?

went for diner in Los Abrigos and they stopped the search when it went dark, from restaurant La Cueva we could clearly see the search.

we live on the golf overlooking the sea and can see everything.. there has been a small orange buoy out in the bay since yesterday which we do not normally see and the life boat and others have been around it quiet lot today. Here's hoping for the families they find whoever is missing very soon..

Someone on the golf said its 2 divers that are missing, all seems a bit vague. Whatever the case, cant be good for someone can it...

No, they've been out again today.

They are obviously looking for a body (bodies?) now.

Canary news reported a man swept off his yacht, his wife was assisting in the search.
