Live Arico shop in San Eugenio have been donated a Mens stone coloured 100% suede leather jacket, size medium/large. Cost 380 dollar new(dont know what that is in euros?)

Also have a Gucci handbag, and bag cover (you can always tell its posh if its a bag that comes in a bag).37 cm length, 18 cm height. Waiting for authentication from Gucci handbag forum!!!!!!yes there is one:D

Doubt if we will sell them in the shop, i just thought i would let Forum members know we have them if they are interested, Great xmas pressies. Carol this is at least the second time things have come on here and because the item is going to be auctioned I have no opportunity to purchase it. Now, if that applies to me, then surely others may be in a similar situation? Put a reserve on them and if not reached then stipulate that the items will then carry forward to the auction. Two birds and one stone, and all that!
(The charity now, I fully support that). (Oh. The jacket is just not what I wanted, I wanted a coat!)

Point taken, they are available to view (or buy) in shop, but, especially in the case of the bag i doubt it will sell because of the value. Might not sell at benefit night either, researching this i have come to realise there are ALOT of women willing to pay BIG SILLY money for designer bags on specialist sites, so we might end up doing that.

Carol. Thank you so much for taking the effort to answer a point I think is valid. I do wish you every success in getting much needed €,s for these goods and let me tell you that someone will buy both (not to-gether!). As a man on telly always says, quality will always out, even on Tenerife!

Its difficult to know what to do for the best sometimes. Obviously our priority is getting the best price for them, so we can quickly liquidate to cash and therefore food for the dogs. Please PM if you want either of these and we can talk. :)

To get a rough idea of what the items are worth see if you can see anything similar on ebay.co.uk,least you will know roughly what people are prepared to pay,maybe if someone going back to uk could put it on ebay for you and sell the items,you can put items on for minium of 3 days and the buyer has upto 4 days to pay.

I have no idea about gucci bags, thats why i sought their advice, the email i got said the canvas ones go for less, they have the design on it, this is calf's leather. There is a black leather one on sale on the internet at 550. They said they were sought after because there are less of them, the advice was to sell to dedicated gucci auction for best price x

I spent hours the other night trawling the internet trying to figure out how much to charge for this bag. I saw that one Atlantico, I also found the identical design but made from ostrich skin at $3500 :spin:
In all honesty I dont want it to go for less than €200 here, and if I cant get that Ill put it on Ebay. :)

As i say, I spent a fair bit of time trawling sites for not only prices, but how to spot fakes, and Im as sure as I can be that its real. Im so confident I would say that if it were to turn out not to be genuine, I would refund the money myself. The only 100% accurate way is to take it to a Gucci store which of course we dont have here, thats why I spent so much time on it myself. Its really lovely, though not everyones cup of tea, and I guess thats why we have been given it, maybe an unwanted gift. Its extrememely well made, with high quality materials. Ive even checked the quality of the dust bag. Everything says to me its the real thing, but as I say, I would guarantee a refund should that not be the case.

Do try and get it authenticated. I once had a genuine designer bag as a prize from an xmas raffle assured to be real, . Sold on ebay and straight back, found out it was fake . Couldn't believe it. It was checked by the buyer and had an email saying it was a fake. The buyer was very upset and assumed I had tried to conn her.
