Welcome to the forum Michele. We retired to Tenerife 2 years ago and loving every minute of it so sure you will enjoy it if you decide to move here. If you don't want to drive you would be best to be in Las Americas or Los Chris although the bus services here are quite good from other places as well. You should think about driving here though as it's really easy and means you can see a lot of the island that otherwise you will miss. All the best anyway.

good morning from a very wet windy and cold england...nothing new !!!!......we love both areas ...dont think we would bring our car couldnt do a drive through spain to caditz then 2 days on ferry...and my husband is sick of driving so it would be nice to explore tenerife via bus..but i do know what you mean but once we are in tenerife that may change xxxx
