Where can I get a Tandem Bicycle in Tenerife?

Does anyone know where one can buy a tandem here on the reef. Or maybe know of someone with one for sale

I think this is something you will have to order online and get shipped here, as it's quite a specialist thing. My uncle has a unicycle and it's the same for them.

You could ask at Decathlon, as they are the most likely place to know. :)

There is a huge bike shop on the right hand side as you go up the main street of San Isidro, think it is called Bici Sport but you can´t miss it.

I think that is your best place to try. :)

Just found this for you as well, if you can speak Spanish here are a few bike shops you could ring around and ask.

There are several bike shops on the island none of whom ( i am pretty certain ) will have a tandem in stock, but any one of them may be able to order one for you. Depending on your level of spanish spoken try any of the following. Bici sport los cristianos, next door to the post office. Tony there speaks several languages so no problems. Bike point in el medano. also good english spanish , german spoken. San isidro is a big shop but i have found them less than helpful in the past , spanish only spoken. You also have a new shop in las galletas in the middle of the shopping streets ( again spanish only spoken).

I was in decathlon last week and can´t recall seeing a tandem but you can check them out online. There are also several other decent bike shops around santa cruz but again would doubt if any would carry a tandem.

My best recommendation would be Tony at Bici sport. ex professional, very nice guy, and always very willing to help.
