Vehicle IVA - What is the percentage for a new vehicle in Tenerife?

Can anyone help me with the question of IVA?
What is the percentage payable on the purchase of a new vehicle in Tenerife?
Is it the same as 18% on mainland Spain?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

New Cars are charged IGIC at the rate of 9% for the moment. That was the charge on our new car last october.

Does it not depend in the type of car? I have a feeling jeeps etc were charged more.

Commercials are certainly different but as I understand, so long as the Ficha indicates that it is being registered as a simple car then jeeps will be charged at the same rate I,ve given.
