My thoughts are with the four families who have lost their loved ones. I hope we can all express our sympathy.

You cant believe it in this day and age.....Just awful. I am from a mining area, my Mums friend lost her husband in an accident some 25 years ago. He was only 38. The roof collapsed. he shouldnt have even been there, was called in on overtime. Its a dangerous job. So sad.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply to this, been off line for a bit.

As an ex miner, NUM official and WELSHMAN, this has dominated my thoughts.

RIP. Our thoughts are with the families concerned.

Lovely touch today when Wales' world cup win was dedicated to the families of the bereaved.
