How did you choose your username on the Tenerife Forum?

With all the members on the forum, I wondered how we all came about choosing our user names, mine is easy Ecky Thump.....Ecky is for my name Eric and Thump is for the noise when I fell of a ladder.

I was observer on another forum a long time ago, already claimed when I joined this one, so shortened it to obs, and here I am.

Just a subtle spelling of Canaries in my case. You won't be surprised to hear that when I tried to register www.canaries.com it had already gone. So we just made a teensy adjustment and ended up with cainaries. We haven't got the website now though to save you the trouble of looking!

Mine was supposed to stand for Canary Islands Mortgages as I had set up TenerifeMortgageBroker and the idea was to expand into the other islands, however I eventually binned the idea and instead just expanded to encompass all of Spain with a few different mortgage websites. If it's the band I'm thinking of then I think yes, years ago doing a Beatles set at O'callaghans when Gary was looting it. I didn't catch the full set but enjoyed what I saw. Obviously there was more than one band covering that stuff but the time sounds about right.

My wife is the same. Always on some sort of diet. She often leaves the chips but by the time the waiter has scooped the plates up she has picked them off.
