Hi, I'm 59 yrs young and have been livin in Tenerife for 2 months... I work 6 nights a week as a barmaid/waitress but get Tuesdays off. Are there any groups of single ladies n gents who meet up socially at all please? I am NOT talking about a dating site type thing, just similar minded people like myself who would like to go for a meal, go bowling, or just meet up for a drink......
If there isnt such a group, would anyone be interested if I started one? Thank you.[/B]

I know there use to be a meet up group on here, does this still exist? Maybe it could be any age
and people wanting to meet as I have a few friends who would love someone to organise this.

I would love to meet some possible friends say the opposite to speed dating where we meet chill chat and have this every week say meeting in wherever is central for all and yes doing some interesting things that we have always wished to do etc I have always wanted to scuba but nervous.

I agree social evenings would be a good idea. Not into speed dating - far too slow these days. Is there a Forum meeting in either March or April the next time I will be on the rock?
