Hi Sharon, I haven't seen the mum since she abandoned the kittens. I'll ask around the neighbours today to see if they know where she is and get back to you ASAP

I just hope people realise that MADAT, the charity that has been taking in all these kittens, has to feed them at a cost of 1€ a day per kitten and then pay for flights ... so please, if you are asking someone to take in kittens (or cats) to solve a problem, a proper donation should really be paid to look after them before they can be flown to Germany :)

So that's an extra 13€ a day Regina has to find to feed the kittens from this week along with food for the 50 plus cats she has at her shelter as well as a lot of other kittens - I believe what she really needs are donations, not more kittens at the moment :)

I'm no expert Sharon so I checked with DJD, food for kittens that young comes in tins and cost 49c each and they will eat 2 of those a day.

Thanks for raising awareness Doreen, I donīt think a lot of people actually realise that they are just passing the problem on to someone else, that someone has not got a pot of gold, more donations are needed for these wonderful people to carry on their great work rescuing and caring for these poor animals.

I would like to make clear that MADAT has no contract with anybody or organisation...
We currently can not have more cats or kittens to take care of.
Yes, Sharon did bring up some food today after all she brought some (14) kittens!!!
we are not in a position to take care of more!!!
What we need is Mercadona kittenfood and cat litter.

Thank you .
