Can't insert an image via URL

Had this problem a while no. When I try and insert an image into a post from another URL it keeps saying "Invalid URL"
I cannot upload as my quota is only 1 measly megabyte and that is full and as I can delete those photos as they are on my sponsored announcement section where I have to have photos for the property listings.
Any ideas?

I also had that problem, so I just type in the code myself and put the URL in the middle.

Type in then put your URL here and close it with

Bingo - no problem.
