I bumped into Cat-Man yesterday in the police station, I was getting our babies DNI (lots of form filling, wrong photos, needed a new empadronamiento etc...)
He looked glum!

I'm sure DJD will post on here when he finally gets all his Association paperwork done - second trip to Santa Cruz today ... and the name of the short film, 036 is in fact one of the Modulos he had to sort out

I have found that its much easier here than in Andalucia. All the staff in these government places have been helpful and logical (does not happen in Malaga!)

We had a shop in Torremolinos and the council told us that we could not put anything on the terrace unless it was on wheels or attached to the wall. We rent bikes and scooters!! How do they think they move?!?!lol

That really is officialdom at its best.

Well, I can honestly say that, until now, I have always found the systems here are at least logical, compared to the efforts of the bureaucrats in the UK, where nothing I have to do seems to be logical.

Brilliant!!!! Thankyou so much. I shall send it to my family in the UK and THEN they will understand what we mean!

Thanks for posting this, doreen, didn't want to think it had disappeared along with the old forum.

Our experiences with local authorities here has found them the opposite of logical or helpful but this may change from place to place, of course.
