The just released photo poster advertising next year's Santa Cruz Carnaval has sparked off the usual controversy in the Canarian community re it's design, but so far they don't seem to have twigged to the fact that the way the model's fingers are facing will not convey an invitation to the Brit community - exactly the opposite!

I´ll never forget when a German camera team went to Northern Ireland to film the troubles there in the nineties. Very quickly their car was surrounded by the local kids who were giving them the V-sign through the windows. The commentator misinterpreted the sign and said how great it was that the children were so confident in winning the struggle!!!:laugh:
