I have just come back from another fabulous stay at a Luxury privately owned Paloma beach apartments .







At Paloma beach on my arrival, Dave showed me to my apartment which had a nice balcony overlooking the coast . Dave took the time to show me how everything worked, and to insure that I settled in ok after the flight :)

Paloma Beach is of course legally registered with the Tenerife Tourist Board and is handled by the sole management agent on the complex. Paloma Beach holds a valid license for tourist accommodation.



This high quality luxury apartment comes as standard - and have 'set the standard' at Paloma Beach in terms of features and finish.

The apartment has a large 50 inch(!) TV & DVD player, plus a selection of UK Sky satellite channels (BBC, ITV, Sky1, Sky Sports1, Sky News etc), and there is no extra cost for using these facilities. Although I don't really watch much TV - it is great to review the days video or photo exploits on the large screen!

On the site previously occupied by Bar Louis, next door to St Eugen's, they do an excellent range of cocktails as well as a pint of local beer for €1.50 all day. Clientele tend to be a good mix of young and old and they also do a fairly standard range of bar snacks and breakfasts during the day.

Really nice place to relax and watch the world go by. My wife and I had recently to visit Tenerife to find someone to take over the management and rental of our apartment as the person who had been doing this for the past 7 years was retiring.

Thanks to the Tenerife forum I knew of Stuart & Michelle from Properties Are Us. Although I had never met them, I felt from their posts on the forum that they were nice people!

My instincts were right:wink: The apartment was in a bit of a state and the furniture and some white goods needed replacing; Michelle said she would sort everything out and get the apartment rented - and, true to her word, she has done just that. We do feel a bit guilty as they had to do a lot of extra running around to make it presentable, while we sat on our A***S back in the U.K.!!

So we would like to say a big "Thank you" to both of you for your professional service and also for the advice Stuart gave to us when we met.

Should anyone else on the forum find themselves in a similar situation to ours, we would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and Michelle at Properties Are Us.

All was well until after the 4th evening when we decided to return early to our room. To cut a long story short, we were in our room and we left the balcony door ajar so my wife could go outside for a cigarette. There were no lights on in the room and we were confronted by a intruder on our first floor hotel room. He had scaled the wall and climbed onto our balcony and entered our room whilst we were in there.

I confronted him with threatening language and ordered him out of our room, he came with the excuse that he thought that our room was his room and that he was looking for his girlfriend. He scaled back over the balcony and casually walked off.

We reported this incident to the reception and security but quite frankly there was no major rush or the calling of the police.
