Does anyone here happen to know if such a thing as the above has reached the ears of any large Spanish lawyers here in Tenerife?
My friend has a very strong case for compensation from the Town Hall for negligence but of course her lawyers here want 250 euros upfront. We all know this is how they operate but I just wondered......any other sharp lawyers with an eye to the future around?
Yes, there was a thread on here not so long ago ... some posted that they knew of lawyers who would take on a NoWin-NoFee.
I have to say that 250 upfront is really a very small ask ... I have paid out significantly more :(
EDITED to add ... 250 would be the minimum fee for the Procurador who is independent of the lawyer you consult but necessary for filing Court documents
I would not be too impressed with any "Advocate" type of legal expert who only charged a minimum start fee of 250 Euro. 2000 Euro start fee (deposit sort of fee) would be more confidence boosting.
