Precious Family Hierloom

Hi Folks, this is a massive shot in the dark,but whilst i lived in Tenerife I lost a family hierloom, I had bought my Mom a charm for her bracelet, she loved it so much she had it turned into a brooch which she wore every day until her death, she left it to me and it went missing in 2009, yes i know its a long time ago, but the older i get, then the more i miss this last connection to my Mom.
The photo attached is identical to the charm, its 9ct gold and the ladybird had been painted red (possibly worn off).

I will happily pay to get this item back, I hope someone out there can help me.
