Does anyone else get spam on Skype?

I'm getting sick of spam contact requests on Skype. I'm getting about 3 a day and I've got my chats set so that people can't contact me unless their on my contact list, but it still doesn't stop the friend requests. Is there any way to stop it or will I have to cancel my account?

I've had the same thing just lately, I just keep blocking them. I dont know but its seems to happen in patches, I can go months without the spam, then theres a rash of it. It seems to work out about every five or six months.
