autonomo payments when 65

hi all
my wife and i are considering returning to live in tenerife next year - we currently run a successful business partnership in uk and have done quite a bit of work here in past so are thinking of doing same here
the question is my wife is 63 and has her uk state pension but still works and intends to work for at least another 5 year - if we returned to tenerife would she pay social security as an autonomo as had different reports that you dont pay once you are 65 - can anyone throw any light on this please as we dont want to be paying two lots of social especially when she will be covered for health etc through her uk state pension
