I was banned by Herr Sarkis. What a little dictator.
Still very mild at 11pm in El Medano. No cardigan required!
Sat on the balcony at 10.45pm in shorts and a t shirt. Pleasant to say the least. Was really hot on arrival, no bad weather. Stars are out, and,as usual, it is gorgeous here in El Medano.
Back to El Medano on Wednesday.
Looking forward to seeing some "interesting" weather over the weekend as it has been reported that a storm is coming in.
By the way, I'm getting married in a...
You could always look at El Medano. A resort, but Spanish not touristy. Bars and restaurants, supermarkets, and some of the best watersports in the world. But be warned, it is windy.
I would have loved to live in El Escobonal, But the other half couldn't cope with being that far from the sea. It's lovely.
Good news for insomniacs...

I enjoyed this forum greatly, but it has become a home to spam nonsense and people freely advertising their business.
It's such a shame as in the back pages there is a wealth of knowledge and...
As far as I have seen, the forum has been off line for about two weeks.
Anyone have any idea why?
So probably no chance of my £16 an hour being matched by an employer in Tenerife then!
I have used a detector on all the beaches around El Medano. I have chatted with both the policia local and the Guardia, and they have said to me that as long as I don't go on the beaches during the...
Do you mean Gestor?
Can you give us all the answer, for future information?
Sounds like timeshare
Do you remember that game we used to play, knock knock ginger, when we knocked on someones door and then ran away?
Well, some people still play it, but they call it Parcelforce.
It's funny, but I have never had an issue with Ryanair and my cabin bag.
Just been to L del C for the car boot market.
I have now seen the famous never opening park. It looks lovely and mature, at first I thought it was a palm farm! Can't see why it isn't open.
This...
They are indeed flying in and out.
Guessing it is going to be a noisy evening here on the flightpath....
All go (or stop as the case may be) when a Jet2 Airbus A330 burst four tyres and blocked the runway.
This was at 13.42. Since then there have been no arrivals or departures from Tenerife South...
I would agree with you, but it IS the closest thing to a supermarket in La Caleta!
I would agree completely with #delderek.
Autoriesen is simply the best value, and do not and will not cheat you with bogus insurance or inflated fuel costs.
There is a small supermarket at the very bottom of the village. It's almost all the way to Del Duqe on Av de las Gaviotas, in front of the hotel Hoviman Jardin Caleta.
I know this isn't in Tenerife yet, but if successful, you can bet that they will be there soon.
...
Now there is a thought that is going to stick with me................
Go on then, I'll bite.
