Are there any schools in S. Tenerife for blind children?

hi all were thinking of moving over to tenerife and have a little boy who is blind and are wondering is there any schools in the south which have the places for blind children.many thanks

As far as I know there are no specialised schools for blind children like they have in the UK however I would suggest that you contact ONCE (Organisacion Nacional Ciegos), this is the Spanish equivalent of the Association for the Blind, you could email them on soi (at) once.es and they should be able to provide you with all the information you need. When you email them you need to put the "at" arroba sign in, if we put email addresses on here then it gets hidden to protect privacy
