this time last year it was about 1.23 i think? we go out on may 14th i just hope it has picked up by then

We fly to Adeje next Friday, can anyone tell me current exchange rate in resort. Currently 1.14 in UK online and want to know whethern to exchange in Tenerife?

The question now is when will the Government devalue the £?
With the Quantitative easing and the loss of the triple AAA rating the £ is being hammered from all sides and I think our numbskulls in government will devalue.
They will then tell us that it is 'the right thing to do' because it will help our exports.......................... what about our imports?
