1.15 at Admiral travel this afternoon and 1.152 at the exchange place near Dreamers, it was 1.16 a couple of days ago.

Does anyone know what the money exchanges in Tenerife are offering today on the pound?
CaxtonFX are offering €1.157 to the pound on their debit cards.
I might just load my card if the bank manager is in a benevolent mood!.

Ecky,
Caxton mention on their website that they do apply any charges when the card is used in an overseas ATM but say local banks may charge for a ATM transaction (which is out of their control)- have you ever been charged by local Banks any time you have taken money out in Tenerife ?

Agreed - I use mine all the time in Tenerife and have never incurred any charges. I use it to buy groceries and pay for meals etc too..

having reread my above comment I realize that I left out a key word and that is NOT i.e. ...... they do NOT apply any charges......Caxton mention on their website that they do apply any charges when the card is used in an overseas ATM
