What's happening in Tenerife at the moment?

Hi guys, we are coming over on Saturday for a couple of weeks. Just wondering if there are any festivals or anything happening entertainment wise for two kids aged 6 & 4? We are stopping near the El Mirador strip. We normally do the water parks, monkey park, etc, etc. Lastly is it busy at the moment over there?

The only festival that I know of in June is 'San Juan' which takes place on the evening of the 23rd and the day of the 24th. It is basically the summer solstice. On the 23rd you will see bonfires all over the place and on the beaches in the evening there will be people partying and running backwards into the sea and jumping over the waves for good luck. On the day of the 24th you will see the goats being 'cleansed' in the sea.
