Where is the best place to buy some fishing gear?

Not looking to spend too much, just a rod and basic tackle to do some fishing off the rocks.

try an 'intersports' shop for it.
theres one in 'chafiras' d.i.y. shop in las chafiras.
and one in the hypertrebol opposite the apollo centre in los cris. hope that helps.

If you're looking for cheap fishing gear, the large Chinese emporium behind Textile Sur at Las Chafiras has a load of it...

There is a Fishing supplies shop in Las Galletas opposite the harbour entrance
They have rods, reels, hooks, lines and all other bits n bobs... absolutely everything!

there's also a fishing shop next to the entrance of Alborada Hotel in Las Galletas... called Sayos (sp¿) I think...

Think I'll try the Chinese shops first.

Don't want to spent to much so Chinese will do, the question is will it last more than a week?
