Bag thieves are at it again in Iceland

I have 2 of these bags: http://www.ebags.com/product/travelo...uctid=10133892 and they have been excellent for me when travelling, shopping and going round markets.. The lobster clasps on the main zipped sections add extra security. I've also noticed a lot of women now have bells attached to their purses or bags to help deter theft - worth trying?

Yes I've seen little bags of and clip on jingle bells advertised on some of the same sites as these anti-theft bags, along with alarms on a cord which clip onto a bag or wallet. I like the idea of the jingle bells as they would be hard to ignore if they started to rattle. Might just try them.

The travelon bags look good too and not so pricey as the pacsafe bags. Will have a look at them too.

No...the ones on Amazon are for two sets of clip on bells. A single set costs £1.80.

My mum came round on Sunday with those on her purse. I didn't know what they were until she told me. Look a bit naff but if they work it doesn't matter.

We were told through a policeman neighbour that the pick pockets and bag snatchers all descend on Tenerife this time of year in readiness for what they call the Blue rinse brigade who they believe are easy targets!
