Could anyone help me . I have a new spanish keyboard. I can get the numbers and the @ sign.
How do I get the inverted commas and question mark signs please.
try the ALT key hold it down and type 34 on the numerics for more codes see this link hope it works on your keyboard if not try searching google - suerte
blimey she's gone already 5p
Question mark is normally SHIFT and the key to the right of the zero. Inverted commas is normally SHIFT and 2.
If that doesn't work, you probably have a Spanish keyboard but the computer thinks you have connected a UK keyboard. In that case, it's easy to change the keyboard setting (but someone else will need to tell you how, because I run Linux on my computers rather than Microsoft Windows).
Thank you. I think it will have to be a change of keyboard settings. Just going to have a try.
No luck so far.I will keep trying. My setting is English. Thanks for all your help.

No, unfortunately not on my keyboard. Thanks for trying.
It's correct to have the language set to English (for spell checking etc), but the computer also needs to know that the hardware attached to it has the Spanish keyboard layout. These instructions might be what you need.Originally Posted by Marian
