My dog just fell down 32 steps!

Not sure if it helps but I know exactly how you are feeling.

I upset another forum member at the weekend and I've not really posted since.
By the time I found out I'd upset him the thread had been closed so I couldn't apologise so that everyone could see it. I apologised via PM and he accepted my apology thankfully.
It's so easy to be misunderstood when it's not face to face.
I'm still not happy with it and so I'm making a conscious effort to stop with the wise cracks.
Keep up your posts Henry. It's hard to please everyone but you have to be happy that the majority of members enjoy your input....

Thank you Marbro - you are so right - I really feel the poor dog should have seen a vet. Giving aspirin to a dog with internal injuries means he could bleed to death internally.

I am so sorry Henry, the last thing I wanted to do was upset you. But you see, I love animals - and I truly really felt that a dog which has had such a bad fall should have been checked over by a vet- and that you shouldn't give human medication to a dog, as it might be very dangerous. Please don't leave, I am not mad at you - but was not happy about the way you dealt with the dog's pain and possible injuries.

All is well now it seems, so no need to leave. But please try and make sure it can't happen again - I am sure you love your little dog and want the best for him. Best regards Marianne
