Shopping for Dairy Free/Egg Free Items

Hello all,
I wasn't sure whether to post this under 'Shopping' or 'Health' so moderators feel free to move it if you think its in the wrong place!
My step daughter & family are coming out to Tenerife after Easter and her little boy (18 months) is allergic to anything containing milk or eggs. She is very worried that she won't be able to find 'dairy free' goods in Tenerife and will have to come over with a suitcase full of food stuffs! We are in the UK at the moment so I can't pop into Mercadona to have a look, so I wondered if anyone here has, or knows of someone with, a similar allergy and if so how they cope. Are such things easy to find?
Any advice appreciated both for supermarket shopping and eating out.

Mercadona has all the soya milk choices. There is also a v good health food shop in Los Christianos just on the left hand side past the bus terminal, next to a fruit n veggie shop.
