Cat poisoning in Patch area of Las Americas.

Warning to all Cat & Dog lovers in the Patch & Playa Honda area.
Someone has poisoned cats in the Playa Honda complex & down the small pathway at the back of Los Cardones. a couple of dogs have also been poisioned when they´ve been running around off the leads & eaten food left out for the cats.
There have even been dead birds found.
Please keep your dogs on a lead in this area & don´t let cats out!

Does anyone have any information as to who could be responsible for this?

OMG! this is awful. I just cannot understand a human being being so callous to any animal, its made me very sad. I hope someone has information or is brave enough to give over information of the people who did this.

I´ve heard that it´s the gardeners in Playa honda & Los Cardones that have been poisoning the cats.
I know people who live in each complex & they are certain. They´ve been reported to the police animal department at the guardia civil various times but the police haven´t done anything,even though it´s illegal to poison animals. It seems they don´t care as many of the cats were strays.
Also a lot of posters have been put up in this area by people who have lost cats.
