Hiring a car and need a few places to visit

I have to say tho we have done Masca, Teide, Loro Park, candellaria. But where else is nice to have a drive out during the day and maybe stop off for a bite to eat ( light snack ).

These places are definitely worth a look:

Las Aguas/San Juan de la Rambla close to Icod
El Monasterio/ Los Realejos
San Andrés

Garrachico is really nice, as is la orotava and if you can find a Guachinche then this is really worth a visit.

Theres a cafe/restaurant just off the autopista going towards puerto de la cruz, near exit 18/19 i think and they take you down by car to have a drink to watch the sun come down, I don't remember the name though...sunset cafe??

If you liked driving to Masca, you will also love driving to Taganana in the Anaga peninsula. Approach from La Laguna through the forest. Have a bite to eat at one of the cafes or restaurants in Roque de la Bodegas (on the coast just beyond Taganana), before returning via the road that goes past San Andres to Santa Cruz. On the way, stop off at Playa de las Teresitas near San Andres.
