Looking for work, dog walker, babysitter, cleaner etc

I have lived on the island for a year, been looking for work for a while now.
Problem with bar/waitressing work is I have no real experience, so no one will take me on, but then how do I get that experience? -But still more than willing to learn.
In the mean time I am very reliable & trustworthy, i have had dogs all my life, including an Alaskan malamute (like a bigger version of a husky) so no dogs to big for a walk and am a real animal lover.
