If you are not in a hurry to get one, its worth waiting until Lidls get theirs in (3 or 4 times a year I think). I'm really pleased with mine, its easy to use and has everything you need. Costs about 90 euros.
Hi, where can my wife buy a sewing machine in North Tenerife? Are there any specialist shops? Thanks

Hi Clara, than you for you swift reply. Do you know what make it is? Are the instructions in English?
It's a German machine (branded with a lidls name - which I can't remember), very well made, and has a very clear instruction book which includes English.
Hi, that's great. I have registered for the Lidl on-line newsletter so will look out for it.
elcampo, sell sewing machines, my friend bought one from there, she s very pleased with it x
Hi Tracy. I have seen them there, but the advertised ones are always out of stock. They must sell out quickly. My wife is cautious with a name she does not know. We are walking distance of Alcampo at La Villa, Oratava. So that would be easier.
If you ever get down to the south there is a specialist shop on the main high street in Valle san Lorenzo
They had a great sewing machine in Conforama last week, for 49-99 Euros lots of different stitches on it, and they had them in stock, had a few different models as well all in stock.
Lidl's are sometimes Singer or the other make which is German is Silvercrest lots of their items are this make and are very good value for money.
