Hi as Megaloo said in the above post my optician is English speaking. Without going into town and looking I don't the name of it but it is opposite the entrance to the Girosol Hotel, just off of the Plaza in Puerto de la Cruz.
We went to Multiopitcas in La Villa where two of the opticians are English speakers.
The head optician with Optica Rui in Santa Cruz city centre speaks excellent English with a definite Scottish lilt!
