Where can I find reasonably priced flights for Christmas/New Year 2014/15

Have just been looking at flights for over Xmas/Ny
19/12/14. Returning 2/1/15. From bhx. Monarch flight


£935.32. 2014 monarch flight price at the moment

£823.45. 2013 easyjet. Bristol


£710.20. 2012 monarch

Any one tell me if I should wait for ryanair flights to be released and what month they release them.

The way it's going I will not be able to afford to go with the rising costs.

I know it's peak time, looks like looking earlyier on in the yr, although I have got accommodation booked for this yr.

Can you fly from Gatwick (LGW)? British Airways currently 598 GBP return for those dates ... in fact Business Class at 850 GBP is cheaper than Monarch !!

Easyjet flights went on sale 27 March 2013 for Christmas 2013 but you must book the day they go on sale or they can go through the roof. I booked a Ryan air flight on 14 May, but I think they had been on sale a few days, when I booked. You could try Norweigan.com but I think they only fly from Gatwick, and they have not gone on sale yet, not sure when they do go on sale but seem to be very reasonable.

Ryan air flights were about £900 for two persons lasr year from Prestwick Jet2 are over £1200 for two from Glasgow.
