Riu Palace hotel, La Caleta

Hi All,it's been a long time,we are visiting Tenerife again and
the riu palace has been recommended,wondered if anyone knows
how long a walk it is to port colon from the riu. thanks

Hi Jonny, Its a fair old walk to Puerto Colon from the Riu Palace which is in La Caleta, i stayed at the nearby Adeje Palace once which was really good but if im being honest i would prefer to be a bit nearer the action! You could always jump on a bus or get a cab and there are some lovely restaurantes in La Caleta!

thanks for the reply Al,we have friends that are staying in the torviscas playa the same time as we are in Tenerife,was hoping it was a short walk must re think. thanks again

It's around 30 minute walk depending on pace - nice walk and peaceful area .
I walk from top of Puerto Colon to La Caleta and back at a reasonably medium pace and its 90 minutes round trip .
